Half Baked... Again

This pregnancy has gone by so much faster than Brock's did. I can't believe we are already half way done!I had a doctor's appointment this week and baby boy 2 looks perfect. The test results for the downs and trisomy 18 tests came back at a less than 1 in 5,000 chance which I guess is the lowest chance they will give you. So good news there! The baby started kicking a couple of weeks ago but they still aren't strong enough to feel from the outside yet. Which is just fine with me. Feeling the baby kick is one of the only things I missed for the short time that I wasn't pregnant! Speaking of which, somehow it came up the other day that I have been pregnant the past 14 out of 18 months. I know we're crazy but it doesn't seem that way at all. I'm so busy with Brock, work, and Aaron's possible transfer, that it's only just starting to hit me that I will be a Mommy of 2 in just 4 months! We have so much to do! Starting with deciding on a name and trying to convince Aaron that it's just not acceptable for both boys to have sports themed rooms. As far as names go, I think we've narrowed it down to Braden James or Brody James. The middle name will be James in honor of Aaron's Dad. We will figure it out eventually!

Well 20 weeks down to 20 go!

Brock's First Christmas

This was the best Christmas ever! Brock loves ripping open the presents and eating the paper. That is what you're supposed to do right?! Santa brought Brock lots of new toys and Mom and Dad got some cool stuff too!

Do they look alike yet?

Aaron thinks I'm crazy because I think the boys look alike already. What do you think?

It's a boy!

Brock is going to have a little brother! I was really hoping for a girl but I guess I was destined to have a brood of boys. Our 2nd little man is 7 oz and is looking healthy so far.

The goods

I hate when they show me the top of the baby's face. He looks like an alien.

Little baby foot!

I think the ultrasound tech had a thing for feet :)

Snow in Florida

Last weekend we took Brock to a Winter Wonderland complete with Santa, ice skating, and "snow". Celebration is a cute little town and would be perfect for a date night. We had dinner, took Brock to see Santa and then played in the snow. We even had the pleasure of watching and laughing at the 100's of little girls screaming their heads off to some Disney band. It was a great night.

He wasn't really sure what was going on.

Mom.... Please come back!

Haha. I couldn't help but laugh. Brock is usually the biggest cheese ball even around strangers but I guess a big guy in a red suit and a beard was too much!

8 Months

What a handsome little guy I have. :)

• Cut his 1st tooth
• Crawls all over the place and is slowly giving up the army crawl
• Can pull up on things. It’s time to lower his mattress. We’ve caught him using it to push himself up.
• Has moved on to pastas and meats. This little man isn’t just a fruit and veggie kid anymore. He LOVES to eat.
• Babbles all.the.time. He can say “dada” and “mama” but doesn’t use them in context. However, when he is upset he says “mamamama” and when he’s playing and babbling he says”dadadada”.
• Wears size 4 diapers & 6-12 month clothes.

He is at such a fun age. I absolutely love to watch him play and explore right now. He is so curious and wants to touch and look at everything. He’s such an amazing little boy and is going to be a great big brother.

I love you Brock Christian.

Finally..... A tooth!!!

Brock finally cut his 1st tooth. His bottom right tooth cut through his little gum yesterday! He's been teething for months now and finally we have a pearly white!!!

Christmas is just around the corner!

I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner! We have our shopping list done but have not crossed a single thing off yet! We are such procrastonators. I finally decided on a Christmas Card and got them ordered. I can't wait to see how they turn out! Here are a ferw pictures I took for the card.

Thanksgiving

The Holiday Season has us busier than usual now that we have a baby and one on the way! We went to Minnesota to spend Thanksgiving with Aaron's Dad and that side of the family. Oh my gosh, was it cold! It got down to 5 degrees one day! Yes, 5! Brock got to see some reindeer, Santa and his 1st snow. He didn't seem to mind the cold at all. We had lots of family time and it was great for the Grandparents to see Brock for the 1st time since he was 2 weeks old! We let Brock try a little bit of everything from Thanksgiving dinner and I think all of the flavor and different textures had him a bit confused. He HATED, I mean HATED mashed potatoes! He was gaging and spitting them out. I couldn't help but laugh. He loved the turkey and cranberry sauce and then decided he would just stick to Cheerios's. That's my boy! :)

Here are some pictures from our adventure up north!

Great Christmas Cards. Great Price.

Tis’ the season! Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and now that we have Brock around I’m even more into it than I was in the past. What could be more fun than buying toys for your little one, taking pictures with Santa and spending time with family?

This year we are going to use Shutterfly for Christmas cards. Shutterfly has the cutest designs I have found, & they don’t break the bank! The website is super easy to use and I have heard great things about the quality so now to the hard part. Which one to choose? I love them all so this might be just as hard as trying to find a Christmas outfit for a little boy under 12 months! Want to help me pick?

I would have chosen Shutterfly for my Christmas cards this year anyway, but I'm sure you figured out by now that the 50 free Christmas Cards may have helped me in that direction again just a bit ;) Who can blame me? I'm sure some of you bloggers would love to receive some free Holiday cards too, so you can register to get your free cards right here!

#2 is 13 weeks

How far along?: 13 weeks
Total weight gain: I've lost 5 pounds but I will attribute that to the nasty stomach flu that we passed around to each other last week
Sleep: Being 13 weeks pregnant while having a 7 month old is exhausting. I thought I was sleep deprived last time around. Ha!
Best moment of this week: Heard the heart beat and got to see the one again. It actually looked somewhat like a baby this time! :)
Gender: We find out in 1 month to the day!!!
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out?: In
What I miss: Tanning. I'm so pasty. I will be doing airbrush tanning this time around. I just have to find a place!
What I am looking forward to: Knowing the gender. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out without getting my hope too high for a girl.
Weekly wisdom: Sleep when you can. I have been taking advantage of being able to be completely alone on my lunch break. I’ve been napping in my car. Shhh. Don’t tell!
Milestones: I'm in the 2nd tri!!!

What baby Campbell is up to:
Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords, and is reaching normal proportions, with a head only one third the size of the body.

7 Months

7 Months old. 2 weeks until your 1st Thanksgiving. 2 months until your 1st Christmas. There are only 5 months until your 1st Birthday, 6 months until you become a big brother. What is going on? 7 months have never gone by so fast. You're a busy busy boy and you need to slow down for Momma!

What you've been up to this month:

•You eat 2 stage to meals a day and one meal of table food. You have had all of the fruits and veggies that Gerber makes but peas are still not your thing. You love pancakes and pears and much to my surprise you actually like green beans. You had your 1st taste of cinnamon roll the other day and you went nuts!!!
•You can officially crawl now but you’re still faster with your version of the army crawl.
•You are starting to pull up on things. It’s time to lower your crib mattress!
•You love to play peek-a-boo. It’s definitely your favorite game
•You have the best personality of any kid I have ever met. You are so happy and silly and well to be quite honest, dramatic. Your laugh would melt anyone’s heart.
•You’re still in size 3 diapers and in between your 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes. You may be a little guy but you have huge feet!
•Still no sign of teeth but I’m sure you’ll have some pearly whites to show off soon!

We have a crawler!

For what seems like months now, Brock has been "army crawling". He pulls himself across the floor with his arms and pushes off with his feet every once in a while. You should see his back... He's ripped! ;)A couple of weeks ago he started doing a couple of steps on his hands and knees before giving up and going back to the army crawl. On Sunday he finally did it. He crawled far enough that we are willing to count it! He got up on his hands and knees, rocked back and forth a couple of times and he was off! All the way across the living room! Aaron and I are so excited and probably a little crazy for being so happy for having a mobile baby!

Now I just need to catch it on camera!

Halloween

I never realized how many Halloween activities there are until I became a Mom. Between the pumpkin patch, the fall festival, parties at daycare and trick or treating we are all Halloweened out and Thanksgiving is just around the corner! The time is going by too fast!!!
