It's a BOY!!!

Well there is no doubt that Baby Campbell is a boy! Aaron had jury duty this week of all weeks and was unable to go the big ultra sound with me. I kept going back and forth on if I should find out with out him or not. I finally decided to have the ultra sound tech put the results in a sealed envelope so we could find out together. It was definitely the best choice. It was so fun to open the envelope with him and find out together that in a few short months we are going to have a beautiful little boy. Aaron is beyond excited to be having a son to carry on the family name. Here is the money shot!

It was awesome to be able to see all his little organs and bones. I saw the 4 chambers of the heart and blood pumping through them, all his little fingers and toes, his spine, kidneys, ribs... it was so amazing that something so tiny has so much going on INSIDE me! He is already taking after his Daddy, he was being so stubborn! The ultra sound tech had tons of trouble getting measurements of his head because of the way he was laying. He had his little head hanging down in my bladder with his feet up in my ribs and would not move! I am so excited to have a healthy baby boy! Here are the rest of the pictures from the ultra sound. Enjoy!

18 Weeks

  • How far along?: 18 weeks
  • Total weight gain: Up one pound from last week so I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight
  • Maternity clothes: Just the Bella Band. I need to go shopping this weekend...
  • Sleep: Still sleeping pretty well
  • Best moment of this week: This is not baby related, but we finally got our wedding video last night. I was amazing to sit and watch it and remember how awesome that day was. When it was over we just looked at each other and realized how awesome it will be to be able to watch it with our little one in a few years.
  • Movement: I'm not sure if it's the baby moving or not, but something is going on in there. It's like my stomach gets really tight in one area and I feel pressure. It doesn't hurt but it's not comfortable. I don't know...
  • Food cravings: I've been really good this week. I haven't eaten anything crazy.
  • Belly Button in or out: In
  • What I miss most: I am really enjoying being pregnant right now. I wouldn't change a thing. Although and tuna sandwich sounds awesome!
  • What I'm looking forward to: Finding out if Baby Campbell is a girl or a boy! 6 days and counting!!!
  • Weekly Wisdom: I've got nothin'
  • Milestones: Feeling baby Campbell move, well potentially feeling movement.

Baby Campbell has become amazingly mobile passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. Baby C is finally big enough to feel those movements.

17 Weeks

Well, I'm 17 weeks today... almost 1/2 way done! I had a doctors appointment this morning and everything was good. I heard the heartbeat again and as always, it was unbelievable. I also got the H1N1 shot so Kevin... get off me! Just kidding, you know I love you! 13 days till the anatomy ultra sound! I really can't wait to find out.
  • How far along?: 17 weeks
  • Total weight gain: I have gained 4 pounds since my last doctors appointment which has me down 1 pound from my pre-pregnancy weight. I don't know how I haven't gained more because I can't button my pants anymore. Which brings me to....
  • Maternity clothes: I'm still not in maternity clothes just yet but I am rocking a Bella Band thanks to my awesome hubby & our good friend Abby. I had a minor melt down earlier this week when I got dressed for work and realized I couldn't button my pants. Aaron took me to lunch that day and had gone to Babies R Us before he picked me up & got me a Bella Band. That's love! The next day he came home from work with more goodies! Our friend gave me one of her Bella Bands and some Cocoa Butter. God love her!!!
  • Sleep: I've been sleeping like a baby
  • Best moment of this week: Aaron surprising me and being the best husband ever
  • Movement: I still haven't felt the baby but my doctor told me I should be feeling "her" soon
  • Food cravings: I still love me some pickles
  • Belly button in or out: In
  • What I miss most: I could really use a margarita on the rocks w/ salt.
  • What I'm looking forward to: Seeing the baby again
  • Weekly wisdom: Ha! What's wisdom? I can't even remember to put shoes on before I leave the house!
  • Milestones: I can't fit in my regular pants anymore!!!
